16:2 Which3739 was well reported3140 of by5259 the brethren0080 that were at1722 Lystra3082 and2532 Iconium2430.
16:3 Him5126 would2309 Paul3972 have to go forth1831 with4862 him0846; and2532 took2983 and circumcised4059 him0846 because1223 of the Jews2453 which3588 were5607 in1722 those1565 quarters5117: for1063 they knew1492 all0537 that3754 his0846 father3962 was5225 a Greek1672.
16:4 And1161 as5613 they went through1279 the cities4172, they delivered3860 them0846 the decrees1378 for to keep5442, that were ordained2919 of5259 the apostles0652 and2532 elders4245 which3588 were at1722 Jerusalem2419.
16:5 And so3303-3767 were4732 the churches1577 established4732 in the faith4102, and2532 increased4052 in number0706 daily2250-2596.
16:6 Now1161 when they had gone throughout1330 Phrygia5435 and2532 the region5561 of Galatia1054, and were forbidden2967 of5259 the Holy0040 Ghost4151 to preach2980 the word3056 in1722 Asia0773,
16:7 After they were come2064 to2596 Mysia3465, they assayed3985 to go4198 into2596 Bithynia0978: but2532 the Spirit4151 suffered1439 them0846 not3756.

16:13 And5037 on the sabbath4521-2250 we went1831 out of1854 the city4172 by3844 a river side4215, where3757 prayer4335 was wont3543 to be made1511; and2532 we sat down2523, and spake2980 unto the women1135 which resorted4905 {thither}.
16:14 And2532 a certain5100 woman1135 named3686 Lydia3070, a seller of purple4211, of the city4172 of Thyatira2363, which worshipped4576 God2316, heard0191 {us}: whose3739 heart2588 the Lord2962 opened1272, that she attended4337 unto the things which were spoken2980 of5259 Paul3972.
16:15 And1161 when5613 she was baptized0907, and2532 her0846 household3624, she besought3870 {us}, saying3004, If1487 ye have judged2919 me3165 to be1511 faithful4103 to the Lord2962, come1525 into1519 my3450 house3624, and abide3306 {there}. And2532 she constrained3849 us2248.
16:16 And1161 it came to pass1096, as we2257 went4198 to1519 prayer4335, a certain5100 damsel3814 possessed2192 with a spirit4151 of divination4436 met0528 us2254, which3748 brought3930 her0846 masters2962 much4183 gain2039 by soothsaying3132:
16:17 The same3778 followed2628 Paul3972 and2532 us2254, and cried2896, saying3004, These3778 men0444 are1526 the servants1401 of the most high5310 God2316, which3748 shew2605 unto us2254 the way3598 of salvation4991.

16:19 And1161 when her0846 masters2962 saw1492 that3754 the hope1680 of their0846 gains2039 was gone1831, they caught1949 Paul3972 and2532 Silas4609, and drew1670 {them} into1519 the marketplace0058 unto1909 the rulers0758,
16:20 And2532 brought4317 them0846 to the magistrates4755, saying2036, These3778 men0444, being5225 Jews2453, do exceedingly trouble1613 our2257 city4172,
16:21 And2532 teach2605 customs1485, which3739 are1832 not3756 lawful1832 for us2254 to receive3858, neither3761 to observe4160, being5607 Romans4514.
16:22 And2532 the multitude3793 rose up together4911 against2596 them0846: and2532 the magistrates4755 rent off4048 their0846 clothes2440, and commanded2753 to beat4463 {them}.
16:23 And5037 when they had laid2007 many4183 stripes4127 upon them0846, they cast0906 {them} into1519 prison5438, charging3853 the jailor1200 to keep5083 them0846 safely0806:
16:24 Who3739, having received2983 such5108 a charge3852, thrust0906 them0846 into1519 the inner2082 prison5438, and2532 made0805 their0846 feet4228 fast0805 in1519 the stocks3586.
16:25 And1161 at2596 midnight3317 Paul3972 and2532 Silas4609 prayed4336, and sang praises5214 unto God2316: and1161 the prisoners1198 heard1874 them0846.
16:26 And1161 suddenly0869 there was1096 a great3173 earthquake4578, so that5620 the foundations2310 of the prison1201 were shaken4531: and5037 immediately3916 all3956 the doors2374 were opened0455, and2532 every one's3956 bands1199 were loosed0447.
16:27 And1161 the keeper of the prison1200 awaking1096 out of his sleep1853, and2532 seeing1492 the prison5438 doors2374 open0455, he drew out4685 his sword3162, and would3195 have killed0337 himself1438, supposing3543 that the prisoners1198 had been fled1628.
16:28 But1161 Paul3972 cried5455 with a loud3173 voice5456, saying3004, Do4238 thyself4572 no3367 harm2556: for1063 we are2070 all0537 here1759.
16:29 Then1161 he called0154 for a light5457, and sprang in1530, and2532 came1096 trembling1790, and fell down before4363 Paul3972 and2532 Silas4609,
16:30 And2532 brought4254 them0846 out1854, and said5346, Sirs2962, what5101 must1163 I3165 do4160 to2443 be saved4982?
16:31 And1161 they said2036, Believe4100 on1909 the Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ5547, and2532 thou4771 shalt be saved4982, and2532 thy4675 house3624.
16:32 And2532 they spake2980 unto him0846 the word3056 of the Lord2962, and2532 to all3956 that were in1722 his0846 house3614.
16:33 And2532 he took3880 them0846-1722 the same1565 hour5610 of the night3571, and washed3068 {their} stripes0575-4127; and2532 was baptized0907, he0846 and2532 all3956 his0846, straightway3916.
16:34 And5037 when he had brought0321 them0846 into1519 his house3624, he set3908 meat5132 before them3908, and2532 rejoiced0021, believing4100 in God2316 with all3832 his0846 house3832.
16:35 And1161 when it was1096 day2250, the magistrates4755 sent0649 the serjeants4465, saying3004, Let0630 those1565 men0444 go0630.
16:36 And1161 the keeper of the prison1200 told0518 this5128 saying3056 to4314 Paul3972-3754, The magistrates4755 have sent0649 to2443 let you go0630: now3568 therefore3767 depart1831, and go4198 in1722 peace1515.
16:37 But1161 Paul3972 said5346 unto4314 them0846, They have beaten1194 us2248 openly1219 uncondemned0178, being5225 Romans4514-0444, and have cast0906 {us} into1519 prison5438; and2532 now3568 do they thrust1544 us2248 out1544 privily2977? nay3756 verily1063; but0235 let them come2064 themselves0846 and fetch1806 us2248 out1806.
16:38 And1161 the serjeants4465 told0312 these5023 words4487 unto the magistrates4755: and2532 they feared5399, when they heard0191 that3754 they were1526 Romans4514.
16:39 And2532 they came2064 and besought3870 them0846, and2532 brought {them} out1806, and desired2065 {them} to depart out1831 of the city4172.
16:40 And1161 they went1831 out of1537 the prison5438, and entered1525 into1519 {the house of} Lydia3070: and2532 when they had seen1492 the brethren0080, they comforted3870 them0846, and2532 departed1831.
