19:1 And there came0935 two8147 angels4397 to Sodom5467 at even6153; and Lot3876 sat3427 in the gate8179 of Sodom5467: and Lot3876 seeing7200 {them} rose up6965 to meet7125 them; and he bowed7812 himself with his face0639 toward the ground0776;
19:2 And he said0559, Behold now, my lords0113, turn in5493, I pray you, into your servant's5650 house1004, and tarry all night3885, and wash7364 your feet7272, and ye shall rise up early7925, and go1980 on your ways1870. And they said0559, Nay; but we will abide3885 in the street7339 all night3885.
19:3 And he pressed6484 upon them greatly3966; and they turned in5493 unto him, and entered0935 into his house1004; and he made6213 them a feast4960, and did bake0644 unleavened bread4682, and they did eat0398.
19:4 But before they lay down7901, the men0582 of the city5892, {even} the men0582 of Sodom5467, compassed5437 the house1004 round5437, both old2205 and young5288, all the people5971 from every quarter7097:
19:5 And they called7121 unto Lot3876, and said0559 unto him, Where {are} the men0582 which came in0935 to thee this night3915? bring them out3318 unto us, that we may know3045 them.
19:6 And Lot3876 went out3318 at the door6607 unto them, and shut5462 the door1817 after him0310,
19:7 And said0559, I pray you, brethren0251, do not so wickedly7489.
19:8 Behold now, I have two8147 daughters1323 which have not known3045 man0376; let me, I pray you, bring them out3318 unto you, and do6213 ye to them as {is} good2896 in your eyes5869: only unto these0411 men0582 do6213 nothing0408-1697; for therefore came0935 they under the shadow6738 of my roof6982.
19:9 And they said0559, Stand5066 back1973. And they said0559 {again}, This one0259 {fellow} came in0935 to sojourn1481, and he will needs8199 be a judge8199: now will we deal worse7489 with thee, than with them. And they pressed6484 sore3966 upon the man0376, {even} Lot3876, and came near5066 to break7665 the door1817.
19:10 But the men0582 put forth7971 their hand3027, and pulled0935 Lot3876 into the house1004 to them, and shut5462 to the door1817.
19:11 And they smote5221 the men0582 that {were} at the door6607 of the house1004 with blindness5575, both small6996 and great1419: so that they wearied3811 themselves to find4672 the door6607.
19:12 And the men0582 said0559 unto Lot3876, Hast thou here6311 any4310 besides? son in law2860, and thy sons1121, and thy daughters1323, and whatsoever0834 thou hast in the city5892, bring {them} out3318 of this place4725:
19:13 For we0587 will destroy7843-0853 this place4725, because the cry of them6818 is waxen great1431 before0854 the face6440 of the LORD3068; and the LORD3068 hath sent7971 us to destroy7843 it.
19:14 And Lot3876 went out3318, and spake1696 unto his sons in law2860, which married3947 his daughters1323, and said0559, Up6965, get you out3318 of this place4725; for the LORD3068 will destroy7843 this city5892. But he seemed as one that mocked6711 unto5869 his sons in law2860.
19:15 And when3644 the morning7837 arose5927, then the angels4397 hastened0213 Lot3876, saying0559, Arise6965, take3947 thy wife0802, and thy two8147 daughters1323, which are here4672; lest thou be consumed5595 in the iniquity5771 of the city5892.
19:16 And while he lingered4102, the men0582 laid hold2388 upon his hand3027, and upon the hand3027 of his wife0802, and upon the hand3027 of his two8147 daughters1323; the LORD3068 being merciful2551 unto him: and they brought him forth3318, and set him3240 without2351 the city5892.
19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth3318 abroad2351, that he said0559, Escape4422 for5921 thy life5315; look5027 not behind thee0310, neither stay5975 thou in all the plain3603; escape4422 to the mountain2022, lest thou be consumed5595.
19:18 And Lot3876 said0559 unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord0113:
19:19 Behold now, thy servant5650 hath found4672 grace2580 in thy sight5869, and thou hast magnified1431 thy mercy2617, which thou hast shewed6213 unto me5978 in saving2421 my life5315; and I cannot3201 escape4422 to the mountain2022, lest some evil7451 take1692 me, and I die4191:
19:20 Behold now, this city5892 {is} near7138 to flee5127 unto, and it1931 {is} a little one4705: Oh, let me escape4422 thither, ({is} it not a little one4705?) and my soul5315 shall live2421.
19:21 And he said0559 unto him, See2009, I have accepted5375 thee6440 concerning this thing1697 also, that I will not overthrow2015 this city5892, for the which0834 thou hast spoken1696.
19:22 Haste4116 thee, escape4422 thither; for I cannot3201 do6213 any thing1697 till thou be come0935 thither. Therefore the name8034 of the city5892 was called7121 Zoar6820.
19:23 The sun8121 was risen3318 upon the earth0776 when Lot3876 entered0935 into Zoar6820.
19:24 Then the LORD3068 rained4305 upon Sodom5467 and upon Gomorrah6017 brimstone1614 and fire0784 from the LORD3068 out of heaven8064;
19:25 And he overthrew2015 those0411 cities5892, and all the plain3603, and all the inhabitants3427 of the cities5892, and that which grew6780 upon the ground0127.
19:26 But his wife0802 looked back5027 from behind him0310, and she became a pillar5333 of salt4417.
19:27 And Abraham0085 gat up early7925 in the morning1242 to the place4725 where he stood5975 before6440 the LORD3068:
19:28 And he looked8259 toward6440 Sodom5467 and Gomorrah6017, and toward6440 all the land0776 of the plain3603, and beheld7200, and, lo, the smoke7008 of the country0776 went up5927 as the smoke7008 of a furnace3536.
19:29 And it came to pass, when God0430 destroyed7843 the cities5892 of the plain3603, that God0430 remembered2142 Abraham0085, and sent7971 Lot3876 out of the midst8432 of the overthrow2018, when he overthrew2015 the cities5892 in the which2004 Lot3876 dwelt3427.
19:30 And Lot3876 went up5927 out of Zoar6820, and dwelt3427 in the mountain2022, and his two8147 daughters1323 with him; for he feared3372 to dwell3427 in Zoar6820: and he dwelt3427 in a cave4631, he and his two8147 daughters1323.
19:31 And the firstborn1067 said0559 unto the younger6810, Our father0001 {is} old2204, and {there is} not a man0376 in the earth0776 to come in0935 unto us after the manner1870 of all the earth0776:
19:32 Come3212, let us make8248 our father0001 drink8248 wine3196, and we will lie7901 with him, that we may preserve2421 seed2233 of our father0001.
19:33 And they made8248 their father0001 drink8248 wine3196 that night3915: and the firstborn1067 went in0935, and lay7901 with her father0001; and he perceived3045 not when she lay down7901, nor when she arose6965.
19:34 And it came to pass on the morrow4283, that the firstborn1067 said0559 unto the younger6810, Behold, I lay7901 yesternight0570 with my father0001: let us make him drink8248 wine3196 this night3915 also; and go thou in0935, {and} lie7901 with him, that we may preserve2421 seed2233 of our father0001.
19:35 And they made8248 their father0001 drink8248 wine3196 that1931 night3915 also: and the younger6810 arose6965, and lay7901 with him; and he perceived3045 not when she lay down7901, nor when she arose6965.
19:36 Thus were both8147 the daughters1323 of Lot3876 with child2029 by their father0001.
19:37 And the firstborn1067 bare3205 a son1121, and called7121 his name8034 Moab4124: the same1931 {is} the father0001 of the Moabites4124 unto this day3117.
19:38 And the younger6810, she also bare3205 a son1121, and called7121 his name8034 Benammi1151: the same {is} the father0001 of the children1121 of Ammon5983 unto this day3117.
