29:1 Then Jacob3290 went on5375 his journey7272, and came3212 into the land0776 of the people1121 of the east6924.
29:2 And he looked7200, and behold a well0875 in the field7704, and, lo, there {were} three7969 flocks5739 of sheep6629 lying7257 by it; for out of that well0875 they watered8248 the flocks5739: and a great1419 stone0068 {was} upon the well's0875 mouth6310.
29:3 And thither were all the flocks5739 gathered0622: and they rolled1556 the stone0068 from the well's0875 mouth6310, and watered8248 the sheep6629, and put7725 the stone0068 again7725 upon the well's0875 mouth6310 in his place4725.
29:4 And Jacob3290 said0559 unto them, My brethren0251, whence0370 {be} ye? And they said0559, Of Haran2771 {are} we.
29:5 And he said0559 unto them, Know3045 ye Laban3837 the son1121 of Nahor5152? And they said0559, We know3045 {him}.
29:6 And he said0559 unto them, {Is} he well7965? And they said0559, {He is} well7965: and, behold, Rachel7354 his daughter1323 cometh0935 with the sheep6629.
29:7 And he said0559, Lo2005, {it is} yet high1419 day3117, neither {is it} time6256 that the cattle4735 should be gathered together0622: water8248 ye the sheep6629, and go3212 {and} feed7462 {them}.
29:8 And they said0559, We cannot3201, until all the flocks5739 be gathered together0622, and {till} they roll1556 the stone0068 from the well's0875 mouth6310; then we water8248 the sheep6629.

29:15 And Laban3837 said0559 unto Jacob3290, Because thou {art} my brother0251, shouldest thou therefore serve5647 me for nought2600? tell5046 me, what {shall} thy wages4909 {be}?
29:16 And Laban3837 had two8147 daughters1323: the name8034 of the elder1419 {was} Leah3812, and the name8034 of the younger6996 {was} Rachel7354.
29:17 Leah3812 {was} tender7390 eyed5869; but Rachel7354 was beautiful3303-8389 and well3303 favoured4758.
29:18 And Jacob3290 loved0157 Rachel7354; and said0559, I will serve5647 thee seven7651 years8141 for Rachel7354 thy younger6996 daughter1323.
29:19 And Laban3837 said0559, {It is} better2896 that I give5414 her to thee, than that I should give5414 her to another0312 man0376: abide3427 with me.
29:20 And Jacob3290 served5647 seven7651 years8141 for Rachel7354; and they seemed5869 unto him {but} a few0259 days3117, for the love he had0160 to her.
29:21 And Jacob3290 said0559 unto Laban3837, Give3051 {me} my wife0802, for my days3117 are fulfilled4390, that I may go in0935 unto her.
29:22 And Laban3837 gathered together0622 all the men0582 of the place4725, and made6213 a feast4960.
29:23 And it came to pass in the evening6153, that he took3947 Leah3812 his daughter1323, and brought0935 her to him; and he went in0935 unto her.
29:24 And Laban3837 gave5414 unto his daughter1323 Leah3812 Zilpah2153 his maid8198 {for} an handmaid8198.
29:25 And it came to pass, that in the morning1242, behold, it {was} Leah3812: and he said0559 to Laban3837, What {is} this thou hast done6213 unto me? did not I serve5647 with thee for Rachel7354? wherefore then hast thou beguiled7411 me?
29:26 And Laban3837 said0559, It must not be so done6213 in our country4725, to give5414 the younger6810 before6440 the firstborn1067.
29:27 Fulfil4390 her2063 week7620, and we will give5414 thee this also for the service5656 which thou shalt serve5647 with me yet seven7651 other0312 years8141.
29:28 And Jacob3290 did6213 so, and fulfilled4390 her week7620: and he gave5414 him Rachel7354 his daughter1323 to wife0802 also.
29:29 And Laban3837 gave5414 to Rachel7354 his daughter1323 Bilhah1090 his handmaid8198 to be her maid8198.
29:30 And he went in0935 also unto Rachel7354, and he loved0157 also Rachel7354 more than Leah3812, and served5647 with him yet seven7651 other0312 years8141.
29:31 And when the LORD3068 saw7200 that Leah3812 {was} hated8130, he opened6605 her womb7358: but Rachel7354 {was} barren6135.
29:32 And Leah3812 conceived2029, and bare3205 a son1121, and she called7121 his name8034 Reuben7205: for3588 she said0559, Surely3588 the LORD3068 hath looked7200 upon my affliction6040; now therefore3588 my husband0376 will love0157 me.
29:33 And she conceived2029 again, and bare3205 a son1121; and said0559, Because the LORD3068 hath heard8085 that I {was} hated8130, he hath therefore given5414 me this {son} also: and she called7121 his name8034 Simeon8095.
29:34 And she conceived again2029, and bare3205 a son1121; and said0559, Now this time6471 will my husband0376 be joined3867 unto me, because I have born3205 him three7969 sons1121: therefore was his name8034 called7121 Levi3878.
29:35 And she conceived2029 again, and bare3205 a son1121: and she said0559, Now6471 will I praise3034 the LORD3068: therefore she called7121 his name8034 Judah3063; and left5975 bearing3205.
