27:2 And2532 when they had bound1210 him0846, they led {him} away0520, and2532 delivered3860 him0846 to Pontius4194 Pilate4091 the governor2232.
27:3 Then5119 Judas2455, which3588 had betrayed3860 him0846, when he saw1492 that3754 he was condemned2632, repented himself3338, and brought again0654 the thirty5144 pieces of silver0694 to the chief priests0749 and2532 elders4245,
27:4 Saying3004, I have sinned0264 in that I have betrayed3860 the innocent0121 blood0129. And1161 they said2036, What5101 {is that} to4314 us2248? see3700 thou4771 {to that}.
27:5 And2532 he cast down4496 the pieces of silver0694 in1722 the temple3485, and departed0402, and2532 went0565 and hanged himself0519.
27:6 And1161 the chief priests0749 took2983 the silver pieces0694, and said2036, It is1832 not3756 lawful1832 for to put0906 them0846 into1519 the treasury2878, because1893 it is2076 the price5092 of blood0129.
27:7 And1161 they took2983 counsel4824, and bought0059 with1537 them0846 the potter's2763 field0068, to1519 bury5027 strangers3581 in5027.
27:8 Wherefore1352 that1565 field0068 was called2564, The field0068 of blood0129, unto2193 this day4594.
27:9 Then5119 was fulfilled4137 that which3588 was spoken4483 by1223 Jeremy2408 the prophet4396, saying3004, And2532 they took2983 the thirty5144 pieces of silver0694, the price5092 of him that was valued5091, whom3739 they of0575 the children5207 of Israel2474 did value5091;

27:11 And1161 Jesus2424 stood2476 before1715 the governor2232: and2532 the governor2232 asked1905 him0846, saying3004, Art1488 thou4771 the King0935 of the Jews2453? And1161 Jesus2424 said5346 unto him0846, Thou4771 sayest3004.

27:16 And1161 they had2192 then5119 a notable1978 prisoner1198, called3004 Barabbas0912.
27:17 Therefore3767 when they0846 were gathered together4863, Pilate4091 said2036 unto them0846, Whom5101 will ye2309 that I release0630 unto you5213? Barabbas0912, or2228 Jesus2424 which3588 is called3004 Christ5547?

27:21 The governor2232 answered0611 and1161 said2036 unto them0846, Whether5101 of0575 the twain1417 will ye2309 that I release0630 unto you5213-1161? They said2036, Barabbas0912.
27:22 Pilate4091 saith3004 unto them0846, What5101 shall I do4160 then3767 with Jesus2424 which3588 is called3004 Christ5547? {They} all3956 say3004 unto him0846, Let him be crucified4717.
27:23 And1161 the governor2232 said5346, Why1063, what5101 evil2556 hath he done4160? But1161 they cried out2896 the more4057, saying3004, Let him be crucified4717.

27:42 He saved4982 others0243; himself1438 he cannot3756-1410 save4982. If1487 he be2076 the King0935 of Israel2474, let him2597 now3568 come down2597 from0575 the cross4716, and2532 we will believe4100 him0846.
27:43 He trusted3982 in1909 God2316; let him deliver4506 him0846 now3568, if1487 he will have2309 him0846: for1063 he said2036-3754, I am1510 the Son5207 of God2316.
27:44 1161The thieves3027 also2532, which3588 were crucified4957 with him0846, cast3679 the same0846 in his0846 teeth3679.
27:45 Now1161 from0575 the sixth1623 hour5610 there was1096 darkness4655 over1909 all3956 the land1093 unto2193 the ninth1766 hour5610.
27:46 And1161 about4012 the ninth1766 hour5610 Jesus2424 cried0310 with a loud3173 voice5456, saying3004, Eli2241, Eli2241, lama2982 sabachthani4518? that5123 is to say, My3450 God2316, my3450 God2316, why2444 hast thou forsaken1459 me3165?
27:47 1161Some of them5100 that stood2476 there1563, when they heard0191 {that}, said3004-3754, This3778 {man} calleth for5455 Elias2243.

27:50 1161Jesus2424, when he had cried2896 again3825 with a loud3173 voice5456, yielded up0863 the ghost4151.

27:59 And2532 when Joseph2501 had taken2983 the body4983, he wrapped1794 it0846 in a clean2513 linen cloth4616,

27:62 Now1161 the next day1887, that3748 followed2076-3326 the day of the preparation3904, the chief priests0749 and2532 Pharisees5330 came together4863 unto4314 Pilate4091,
27:63 Saying3004, Sir2962, we remember3415 that3754 that1565 deceiver4108 said2036, while he was yet2089 alive2198, After3326 three5140 days2250 I will rise again1453.
27:64 Command2753 therefore3767 that the sepulchre5028 be made sure0805 until2193 the third5154 day2250, lest3379 his0846 disciples3101 come2064 by night3571, and steal2813 him0846 away2813, and2532 say2036 unto the people2992, He is risen1453 from0575 the dead3498: so2532 the last2078 error4106 shall be2071 worse than5501 the first4413.
27:65 1161Pilate4091 said5346 unto them0846, Ye have2192 a watch2892: go your way5217, make {it} as sure0805 as5613 ye can1492.
27:66 So1161 they went4198, and made0805 the sepulchre5028 sure0805, sealing4972 the stone3037, and setting3326 a watch2892.
