（七十士中常译自לֵבָב לֵב）。

一、「理解，了解，心志」，是νοεῖν的器官。心地，弗4:18 。悟性，约壹5:20 。指道德的理解力，来8:10 来10:16 （皆引耶31:33 ）。用「心，魂，意」，太22:37 可12:30 路10:27 （申6:5 异版）。

二、「心意」，为一种「思想，意念」。εἰλικρινὴς δ. 诚实的心，彼后3:1 ；ὑπερήφανος διανοίᾳ καρδίας αὐτοῦ他心中的意念正妄想（代上29:18 ），路1:51 ；ἐχθρὸς τῇ δ.心里为敌，西1:21 。喻意：要约束你们的心，彼前1:13 。
