11:2 1161(It was2258 {that} Mary3137 which3588 anointed0218 the Lord2962 with ointment3464, and2532 wiped1591 his0846 feet4228 with her0846 hair2359, whose3739 brother0080 Lazarus2976 was sick0770.)
11:3 Therefore3767 his sisters0079 sent0649 unto4314 him0846, saying3004, Lord2962, behold2396, he whom3739 thou lovest5368 is sick0770.
11:4 When1161 Jesus2424 heard0191 {that}, he said2036, This3778 sickness0769 is2076 not3756 unto4314 death2288, but0235 for5228 the glory1391 of God2316, that2443 the Son5207 of God2316 might be glorified1392 thereby1223-0846.

11:8 {His} disciples3101 say3004 unto him0846, Master4461, the Jews2453 of late3568 sought2212 to stone3034 thee4571; and2532 goest thou5217 thither1563 again3825?
11:9 Jesus2424 answered0611, Are there1526 not3780 twelve1427 hours5610 in the day2250? If1437 any man5100 walk4043 in1722 the day2250, he stumbleth4350 not3756, because3754 he seeth0991 the light5457 of this5127 world2889.
11:10 But1161 if1437 a man5100 walk4043 in1722 the night3571, he stumbleth4350, because3754 there is2076 no3756 light5457 in1722 him0846.

11:18 Now1161 Bethany0963 was2258 nigh1451 unto Jerusalem2414, about5613 fifteen1178 furlongs4712 off0575:
11:19 And2532 many4183 of1537 the Jews2453 came2064 to4314 Martha3136 and2532 Mary3137-4012, to2443 comfort3888 them0846 concerning4012 their0846 brother0080.
11:20 Then3767 Martha3136, as soon as5613 she heard0191 that3754 Jesus2424 was coming2064, went and met5221 him0846: but1161 Mary3137 sat2516 {still} in1722 the house3624.
11:21 Then3767 said2036 Martha3136 unto4314 Jesus2424, Lord2962, if1487 thou hadst been2258 here5602, my3450 brother0080-0302 had2348 not3756 died2348.

11:23 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto her0846, Thy4675 brother0080 shall rise again0450.
11:24 Martha3136 saith3004 unto him0846, I know1492 that3754 he shall rise again0450 in1722 the resurrection0386 at1722 the last2078 day2250.
11:25 Jesus2424 said2036 unto her0846, I1473 am1510 the resurrection0386, and2532 the life2222: he that believeth4100 in1519 me1691, though2579 he were dead0599, yet shall he live2198:

11:33 When5613 Jesus2424 therefore3767 saw1492 her0846 weeping2799, and2532 the Jews2453 also weeping2799 which came4905 with her0846, he groaned1690 in the spirit4151, and2532 was troubled5015-1438,
11:34 And2532 said2036, Where4226 have ye laid5087 him0846? They said3004 unto him0846, Lord2962, come2064 and2532 see1492.
11:35 Jesus2424 wept1145.
11:36 Then3767 said3004 the Jews2453, Behold2396 how4459 he loved5368 him0846!

11:39 Jesus2424 said3004, Take ye away0142 the stone3037. Martha3136, the sister0079 of him that was dead2348, saith3004 unto him0846, Lord2962, by this time2235 he stinketh3605: for1063 he hath been2076 {dead} four days5066.
11:40 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto her0846, Said I2036 not3756 unto thee4671, that3754, if1437 thou wouldest believe4100, thou shouldest see3700 the glory1391 of God2316?

11:42 And1161 I1473 knew1492 that3754 thou hearest0191 me3450 always3842: but0235 because1223 of the people3793 which3588 stand by4026 I said2036 {it}, that2443 they may believe4100 that3754 thou4771 hast sent0649 me3165.

11:48 If1437 we let0863 him0846 thus3779 alone0863, all3956 {men} will believe4100 on1519 him0846: and2532 the Romans4514 shall come2064 and2532 take away0142 both2532 our2257 place5117 and2532 nation1484.
11:49 And1161 one1520-5100 of1537 them0846, {named} Caiaphas2533, being5607 the high priest0749 that same1565 year1763, said2036 unto them0846, Ye5210 know1492 nothing at all3756-3762,
11:50 Nor3761 consider1260 that3754 it is expedient4851 for us2254, that2443 one1520 man0444 should die0599 for5228 the people2992, and2532 that the whole3650 nation1484 perish0622 not3361.
11:51 And1161 this5124 spake he2036 not3756 of0575 himself1438: but0235 being5607 high priest0749 that1565 year1763, he prophesied4395 that3754 Jesus2424 should3195 die0599 for that5228 nation1484;
11:52 And2532 not3756 for that5228 nation1484 only3440, but0235 that2443 also2532 he should gather together4863 in1519 one1520 the children5043 of God2316 that were scattered abroad1287.
11:53 Then3767 from0575 that1565 day2250 forth they took counsel together4823 for to2443 put0615 him0846 to death0615.
11:54 Jesus2424 therefore3767 walked4043 no more3765 openly3954 among1722 the Jews2453; but0235 went0565 thence1564 unto1519 a country5561 near1451 to the wilderness2048, into1519 a city4172 called3004 Ephraim2187, and there2546 continued1304 with3326 his0846 disciples3101.
11:55 And1161 the Jews'2453 passover3957 was2258 nigh at hand1451: and2532 many4183 went0305 out of1537 the country5561 up1519 to Jerusalem2414 before4253 the passover3957, to2443 purify0048 themselves1438.
11:56 Then3767 sought they for2212 Jesus2424, and2532 spake3004 among3326 themselves0240, as they stood2476 in1722 the temple2411, What5101 think1380 ye5213, that3754 he will2064 not3364 come2064 to1519 the feast1859?
11:57 Now1161 both2532 the chief priests0749 and2532 the Pharisees5330 had given1325 a commandment1785, that2443, if1437 any man5100 knew1097 where4226 he were2076, he should shew3377 {it}, that3704 they might take4084 him0846.
