16:1 Send7971 ye the lamb3733 to the ruler4910 of the land0776 from Sela5554 to the wilderness4057, unto the mount2022 of the daughter1323 of Zion6726.
16:2 For it shall be, {that}, as a wandering5074 bird5775 cast out7971 of the nest7064, {so} the daughters1323 of Moab4124 shall be at the fords4569 of Arnon0769.
16:3 Take0935 counsel6098, execute6213 judgment6415; make7896 thy shadow6738 as the night3915 in the midst8432 of the noonday6672; hide5641 the outcasts5080; bewray1540 not him that wandereth5074.
16:4 Let mine outcasts5080 dwell1481 with thee, Moab4124; be1933 thou a covert5643 to them from the face6440 of the spoiler7703: for the extortioner4160 is at an end0656, the spoiler7701 ceaseth3615, the oppressors7429 are consumed8552 out of the land0776.
16:5 And in mercy2617 shall the throne3678 be established3559: and he shall sit3427 upon it in truth0571 in the tabernacle0168 of David1732, judging8199, and seeking1875 judgment4941, and hasting4106 righteousness6664.

16:10 And gladness8057 is taken away0622, and joy1524 out of the plentiful field3759; and in the vineyards3754 there shall be no singing7442, neither shall there be shouting7321: the treaders1869 shall tread out1869 no wine3196 in {their} presses3342; I have made {their vintage} shouting1959 to cease7673.
