61:2 To proclaim7121 the acceptable7522 year8141 of the LORD3068, and the day3117 of vengeance5359 of our God0430; to comfort5162 all that mourn0057;
61:3 To appoint7760 unto them that mourn0057 in Zion6726, to give5414 unto them beauty6287 for ashes0665, the oil8081 of joy8342 for mourning0060, the garment4594 of praise8416 for the spirit7307 of heaviness3544; that they might be called7121 trees0352 of righteousness6664, the planting4302 of the LORD3068, that he might be glorified6286.
61:4 And they shall build1129 the old5769 wastes2723, they shall raise up6965 the former7223 desolations8074, and they shall repair2318 the waste2721 cities5892, the desolations8074 of many1755 generations1755.
61:5 And strangers2114 shall stand5975 and feed7462 your flocks6629, and the sons1121 of the alien5236 {shall be} your plowmen0406 and your vinedressers3755.
61:6 But ye shall be named7121 the Priests3548 of the LORD3068: {men} shall call0559 you the Ministers8334 of our God0430: ye shall eat0398 the riches2428 of the Gentiles1471, and in their glory3519 shall ye boast3235 yourselves.
61:7 For your shame1322 {ye shall have} double4932; and {for} confusion3639 they shall rejoice7442 in their portion2506: therefore in their land0776 they shall possess3423 the double4932: everlasting5769 joy8057 shall be unto them.
61:8 For I the LORD3068 love0157 judgment4941, I hate8130 robbery1498 for burnt offering5930; and I will direct5414 their work6468 in truth0571, and I will make3772 an everlasting5769 covenant1285 with them.
