42:1 Behold my servant5650, whom I uphold8551; mine elect0972, {in whom} my soul5315 delighteth7521; I have put5414 my spirit7307 upon him: he shall bring forth3318 judgment4941 to the Gentiles1471.
42:2 He shall not cry6817, nor lift up5375, nor cause his voice6963 to be heard8085 in the street2351.
42:3 A bruised7533 reed7070 shall he not break7665, and the smoking3544 flax6594 shall he not quench3518: he shall bring forth3318 judgment4941 unto truth0571.
42:4 He shall not fail3543 nor be discouraged7533, till he have set7760 judgment4941 in the earth0776: and the isles0339 shall wait3176 for his law8451.
42:5 Thus saith0559 God0410 the LORD3068, he that created1254 the heavens8064, and stretched them out5186; he that spread forth7554 the earth0776, and that which cometh out6631 of it; he that giveth5414 breath5397 unto the people5971 upon it, and spirit7307 to them that walk1980 therein:
42:6 I the LORD3068 have called7121 thee in righteousness6664, and will hold2388 thine hand3027, and will keep5341 thee, and give5414 thee for a covenant1285 of the people5971, for a light0216 of the Gentiles1471;

42:8 I {am} the LORD3068: that {is} my name8034: and my glory3519 will I not give5414 to another0312, neither my praise8416 to graven images6456.
42:9 Behold, the former things7223 are come to pass0935, and new things2319 do I declare5046: before they spring forth6779 I tell8085 you of them.
42:10 Sing7891 unto the LORD3068 a new2319 song7892, {and} his praise8416 from the end7097 of the earth0776, ye that go down3381 to the sea3220, and all that is therein4393; the isles0339, and the inhabitants3427 thereof.

42:18 Hear8085, ye deaf2795; and look5027, ye blind5787, that ye may see7200.

42:20 Seeing7200-7200 many things7227, but thou observest8104 not; opening6491 the ears0241, but he heareth8085 not.
