25:1 O LORD3068, thou {art} my God0430; I will exalt7311 thee, I will praise3034 thy name8034; for thou hast done6213 wonderful6382 {things; thy} counsels6098 of old7350 {are} faithfulness0530 {and} truth0544.
25:2 For thou hast made7760 of a city5892 an heap1530; {of} a defenced1219 city7151 a ruin4654: a palace0759 of strangers2114 to be no city5892; it shall never5769 be built1129.
25:3 Therefore shall the strong5794 people5971 glorify3513 thee, the city7151 of the terrible6184 nations1471 shall fear3372 thee.
25:4 For thou hast been a strength4581 to the poor1800, a strength4581 to the needy0034 in his distress6862, a refuge4268 from the storm2230, a shadow6738 from the heat2721, when the blast7307 of the terrible ones6184 {is} as a storm2230 {against} the wall7023.
25:5 Thou shalt bring down3665 the noise7588 of strangers2114, as the heat2721 in a dry place6724; {even} the heat2721 with the shadow6738 of a cloud5645: the branch2159 of the terrible ones6184 shall be brought low6030.
25:6 And in this mountain2022 shall the LORD3068 of hosts6635 make6213 unto all people5971 a feast4960 of fat things8081, a feast4960 of wines on the lees8105, of fat things8081 full of marrow4229, of wines on the lees8105 well refined2212.
25:7 And he will destroy1104 in this mountain2022 the face6440 of the covering3875 cast over3874 all people5971, and the vail4541 that is spread5259 over all nations1471.
25:8 He will swallow up1104 death4194 in victory5331; and the Lord0136 GOD3069 will wipe away4229 tears1832 from off all faces6440; and the rebuke2781 of his people5971 shall he take away5493 from off all the earth0776: for the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 {it}.
25:9 And it shall be said0559 in that day3117, Lo, this {is} our God0430; we have waited6960 for him, and he will save3467 us: this {is} the LORD3068; we have waited6960 for him, we will be glad1523 and rejoice8055 in his salvation3444.
25:10 For in this mountain2022 shall the hand3027 of the LORD3068 rest5117, and Moab4124 shall be trodden down1758 under him, even as straw4963 is trodden down1758 for the dunghill1119-4087-4325.
25:11 And he shall spread forth6566 his hands3027 in the midst7130 of them, as he that swimmeth7811 spreadeth forth6566 {his hands} to swim7811: and he shall bring down8213 their pride1346 together with the spoils0698 of their hands3027.
25:12 And the fortress4013 of the high fort4869 of thy walls2346 shall he bring down7817, lay low8213, {and} bring5060 to the ground0776, {even} to the dust6083.
