11:1 And {when} the people5971 complained0596, it displeased7451-0241 the LORD3068: and the LORD3068 heard8085 {it}; and his anger0639 was kindled2734; and the fire0784 of the LORD3068 burnt1197 among them, and consumed0398 {them that were} in the uttermost parts7097 of the camp4264.
11:2 And the people5971 cried6817 unto Moses4872; and when Moses4872 prayed6419 unto the LORD3068, the fire0784 was quenched8257.
11:3 And he called7121 the name8034 of the1931 place4725 Taberah8404: because the fire0784 of the LORD3068 burnt1197 among them.
11:4 And the mixt multitude0628 that {was} among7130 them fell a lusting0183-8378: and the children1121 of Israel3478 also wept1058 again7725, and said0559, Who shall give us flesh1320 to eat0398?
11:5 We remember2142 the fish1710, which we did eat0398 in Egypt4714 freely2600; the cucumbers7180, and the melons0020, and the leeks2682, and the onions1211, and the garlick7762:
11:6 But now our soul5315 {is} dried away3002: {there is} nothing at all, beside1115 this manna4478, {before} our eyes5869.
11:7 And the manna4478 {was} as coriander1407 seed2233, and the colour5869 thereof as the colour5869 of bdellium0916.
11:8 {And} the people5971 went about7751, and gathered3950 {it}, and ground2912 {it} in mills7347, or beat1743 {it} in a mortar4085, and baked1310 {it} in pans6517, and made6213 cakes5692 of it: and the taste2940 of it was as the taste2940 of fresh3955 oil8081.

11:11 And Moses4872 said0559 unto the LORD3068, Wherefore hast thou afflicted7489 thy servant5650? and wherefore have I not found4672 favour2580 in thy sight5869, that thou layest7760 the burden4853 of all this people5971 upon me?
11:12 Have I conceived2029 all this people5971? have I begotten3205 them, that thou shouldest say0559 unto me, Carry5375 them in thy bosom2436, as a nursing father0539 beareth5375 the sucking child3243, unto the land0127 which thou swarest7650 unto their fathers0001?
11:13 Whence0370 should I have flesh1320 to give5414 unto all this people5971? for they weep1058 unto me, saying0559, Give5414 us flesh1320, that we may eat0398.
11:14 I am not able3201 to bear5375 all this people5971 alone0905, because {it is} too heavy3515 for me.
11:15 And if thou deal6213 thus with me, kill2026 me, I pray thee, out of hand2026, if I have found4672 favour2580 in thy sight5869; and let me not see7200 my wretchedness7451.
11:16 And the LORD3068 said0559 unto Moses4872, Gather0622 unto me seventy7657 men0376 of the elders2205 of Israel3478, whom thou knowest3045 to be the elders2205 of the people5971, and officers7860 over them; and bring3947 them unto the tabernacle0168 of the congregation4150, that they may stand3320 there with thee.
11:17 And I will come down3381 and talk1696 with thee there: and I will take0680 of the spirit7307 which {is} upon thee, and will put7760 {it} upon them; and they shall bear5375 the burden4853 of the people5971 with thee, that thou bear5375 {it} not thyself alone.
11:18 And say0559 thou unto the people5971, Sanctify6942 yourselves against to morrow4279, and ye shall eat0398 flesh1320: for ye have wept1058 in the ears0241 of the LORD3068, saying0559, Who shall give us flesh1320 to eat0398? for {it was} well2895 with us in Egypt4714: therefore the LORD3068 will give5414 you flesh1320, and ye shall eat0398.
11:19 Ye shall not eat0398 one0259 day3117, nor two days3117, nor five2568 days3117, neither ten6235 days3117, nor twenty6242 days3117;
11:20 {But} even a whole month2320-3117, until it come out3318 at your nostrils0639, and it be loathsome2214 unto you: because3282 that ye have despised3988 the LORD3068 which {is} among7130 you, and have wept1058 before6440 him, saying0559, Why came we forth3318 out of Egypt4714?
11:21 And Moses4872 said0559, The people5971, among7130 whom I {am}, {are} six8337 hundred3967 thousand0505 footmen7273; and thou hast said0559, I will give5414 them flesh1320, that they may eat0398 a whole3117 month2320.
11:22 Shall the flocks6629 and the herds1241 be slain7819 for them, to suffice4672 them? or shall all the fish1709 of the sea3220 be gathered together0622 for them, to suffice4672 them?
11:23 And the LORD3068 said0559 unto Moses4872, Is the LORD'S3068 hand3027 waxed short7114? thou shalt see7200 now whether my word1697 shall come to pass7136 unto thee or not.
11:24 And Moses4872 went out3318, and told1696 the people5971 the words1697 of the LORD3068, and gathered0622 the seventy7657 men0376 of the elders2205 of the people5971, and set5975 them round about5439 the tabernacle0168.
11:25 And the LORD3068 came down3381 in a cloud6051, and spake1696 unto him, and took0680 of the spirit7307 that {was} upon him, and gave5414 {it} unto the seventy7657 elders2205-0376: and it came to pass, {that}, when the spirit7307 rested5117 upon them, they prophesied5012, and did not cease3254.
11:26 But there remained7604 two8147 {of the} men0582 in the camp4264, the name8034 of the one0259 {was} Eldad0419, and the name8034 of the other8145 Medad4312: and the spirit7307 rested5117 upon them; and they {were} of them that were written3789, but went not out3318 unto the tabernacle0168: and they prophesied5012 in the camp4264.
11:27 And there ran7323 a young man5288, and told5046 Moses4872, and said0559, Eldad0419 and Medad4312 do prophesy5012 in the camp4264.
11:28 And Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun5126, the servant8334 of Moses4872, {one} of his young men0979, answered6030 and said0559, My lord0113 Moses4872, forbid3607 them.
11:29 And Moses4872 said0559 unto him, Enviest7065 thou for my sake? would God that all the5414 LORD'S3068 people5971 were prophets5030, {and} that the LORD3068 would put5414 his spirit7307 upon them!
11:30 And Moses4872 gat0622 him into the camp4264, he and the elders2205 of Israel3478.
11:31 And there went forth5265 a wind7307 from the LORD3068, and brought1468 quails7958 from the sea3220, and let {them} fall5203 by the camp4264, as it were a day's3117 journey1870 on this side3541, and as it were a day's3117 journey1870 on the other side3541, round about5439 the camp4264, and as it were two cubits0520 {high} upon the face6440 of the earth0776.
11:32 And the people5971 stood up6965 all that day3117, and all {that} night3915, and all the next4283 day3117, and they gathered0622 the quails7958: he that gathered least4591 gathered0622 ten6235 homers2563: and they spread7849 {them} all abroad7849 for themselves round about5439 the camp4264.
11:33 And while the flesh1320 {was} yet2962 between their teeth8127, ere it was chewed3772, the wrath0639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against the people5971, and the LORD3068 smote5221 the people5971 with a very3966 great7227 plague4347.
11:34 And he called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Kibrothhattaavah6914: because there they buried6912 the people5971 that lusted0183.
11:35 {And} the people5971 journeyed5265 from Kibrothhattaavah6914 unto Hazeroth2698; and abode at Hazeroth2698.
