一、用于地位，权力及尊重，「低位的，为穷的，卑微的，无名的，不重要的」（撒上18:23 ）ὁ ἀδελφὸς ὁ ταπ.卑微的弟兄（反于πλούσιος富有的）雅1:9 。实名词，复数（番2:3 赛11:4 赛14:32 ）路1:52 （反于δυνάσται有权柄的）。ὁ παρακαλῶν τοὺς ταπεινοὺς安慰丧气之人，林后7:6 （赛49:13 ）。关于τοῖς ταπεινοῖς συναπαγόμενοι俯就卑微的人，罗12:16 ，参συναπάγω－SG4879。
