一、「所充滿之物」。

A. 「所容之物」。 ἡ γῆ καὶ τὸ πλ. αὐτῆς 地和其中所充滿的，林前10:26 。（林前24:1 ）。ἦραν κλάσματα δώδεκα κοφίνων πληρώματα 他們就把碎片兒撿起來，十二個藍子滿滿的！可6:43 ;參可8:20 （參可4:6 ）。

B. 「補缺之物，彌補，增補物」。字義：用於補在衣服上的布塊，太9:16 可2:21 。喻意：論到教會為肢體，意可能為補足基督的教會，τὸ πλ. 弗1:23 ，但更可能屬於意二：

二、所添滿之物：

A. 「滿足的數目」：τὸ πλ. τῶν ἐθνῶν 外邦人的數目添滿了，弗11:25 ，關於弗11:12 ，也有很多學者將之列為此類，見下列三。

B. 「總合，豐滿，盈溢」。τινός充滿某物，πλ. εὐλογίας Χριστοῦ 基督豐盛的恩典，弗15:29 。πᾶν τὸ πλ. τῆς θεότητος 神本性一切的豐盛（見θεότης－SG2320），西2:9 ；不加所有格，但具相同意思，西1:19 。與所有格連用，指明擁有豐盛內涵者：εἰς πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα τοῦ θεοῦ完完全全地得到神之豐滿，※ 弗3:19 （見πληρόω－SG4137一B.）。用於基督：ἐκ τοῦ πληρώματος αὐτοῦ 從他的豐滿裡，※ 弗1:16 。關於，εἰς μέτρον ἡλικίας τοῦ πληρώματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ滿有基督長成的身量，弗4:13 見μέτρον－SG3358二B.。
