一、「腰，腰部」。是皮带或腰带所佩戴的位置（王下1:8 ）太3:4 可1:6 。既然在家里穿外衣不束上带子，束上带子就表示为了活动，特指为了旅行而作的准备：经常用在象征用语：περιζώννυσθαι τὴν ὀσ.用带子束腰（耶1:17 ）弗6:14 ;参路12:35 （参出12:11 ）；或ἀναζώννυσθαι τὰς ὀσ) ，彼前1:13 ，在该处，所有格τῆς διανοίας（心中的）显示了这语辞的象征意味。
