50:1 And Joseph3130 fell5307 upon his father's0001 face6440, and wept1058 upon him, and kissed5401 him.
50:2 And Joseph3130 commanded6680 his servants5650 the physicians7495 to embalm2590 his father0001: and the physicians7495 embalmed2590 Israel3478.
50:3 And forty0705 days3117 were fulfilled4390 for him; for so are fulfilled4390 the days3117 of those which are embalmed2590: and the Egyptians4714 mourned1058 for him threescore and ten7657 days3117.
50:4 And when the days3117 of his mourning1068 were past5674, Joseph3130 spake1696 unto the house1004 of Pharaoh6547, saying0559, If now I have found4672 grace2580 in your eyes5869, speak1696, I pray you, in the ears0241 of Pharaoh6547, saying0559,
50:5 My father0001 made me swear7650, saying0559, Lo2009, I die4191: in my grave6913 which I have digged3738 for me in the land0776 of Canaan3667, there shalt thou bury me6912. Now therefore let me go up5927, I pray thee, and bury6912 my father0001, and I will come again7725.
50:6 And Pharaoh6547 said0559, Go up5927, and bury6912 thy father0001, according as he made thee swear7650.
50:7 And Joseph3130 went up5927 to bury6912 his father0001: and with him went up5927 all the servants5650 of Pharaoh6547, the elders2205 of his house1004, and all the elders2205 of the land0776 of Egypt4714,
50:8 And all the house1004 of Joseph3130, and his brethren0251, and his father's0001 house1004: only their little ones2945, and their flocks6629, and their herds1241, they left5800 in the land0776 of Goshen1657.
50:9 And there went up5927 with him both chariots7393 and horsemen6571: and it was a very3966 great3515 company4264.
50:10 And they came0935 to the threshingfloor1637 of Atad0329, which {is} beyond5676 Jordan3383, and there they mourned5594 with a great1419 and very3966 sore3515 lamentation4553: and he made6213 a mourning0060 for his father0001 seven7651 days3117.
50:11 And when the inhabitants3427 of the land0776, the Canaanites3669, saw7200 the mourning0060 in the floor1637 of Atad0329, they said0559, This {is} a grievous3515 mourning0060 to the Egyptians4714: wherefore the name of it8034 was called7121 Abelmizraim0067, which {is} beyond5676 Jordan3383.
50:12 And his sons1121 did6213 unto him according as he commanded6680 them:
50:13 For his sons1121 carried5375 him into the land0776 of Canaan3667, and buried6912 him in the cave4631 of the field7704 of Machpelah4375, which Abraham0085 bought7069 with the field7704 for a possession0272 of a buryingplace6913 of Ephron6085 the Hittite2850, before6440 Mamre4471.
50:14 And Joseph3130 returned7725 into Egypt4714, he, and his brethren0251, and all that went up5927 with him to bury6912 his father0001, after0310 he had buried6912 his father0001.
50:15 And when Joseph's3130 brethren0251 saw7200 that their father0001 was dead4191, they said0559, Joseph3130 will peradventure3863 hate us7852, and will certainly7725 requite7725 us all the evil7451 which we did1580 unto him.
50:16 And they sent a messenger6680 unto Joseph3130, saying0559, Thy father0001 did command6680 before6440 he died4194, saying0559,
50:17 So shall ye say0559 unto Joseph3130, Forgive5375, I pray thee0577 now, the trespass6588 of thy brethren0251, and their sin2403; for they did1580 unto thee evil7451: and now, we pray thee, forgive5375 the trespass6588 of the servants5650 of the God0430 of thy father0001. And Joseph3130 wept1058 when they spake1696 unto him.
50:18 And his brethren0251 also went3212 and fell down5307 before his face6440; and they said0559, Behold, we {be} thy servants5650.
50:19 And Joseph3130 said0559 unto them, Fear3372 not: for {am} I in the place of God0430?
50:20 But as for you, ye thought2803 evil7451 against me; {but} God0430 meant it2803 unto good2896, to4616 bring to pass6213, as {it is} this day3117, to save2421 much7227 people5971 alive2421.
50:21 Now therefore fear3372 ye not: I will nourish3557 you, and your little ones2945. And he comforted5162 them, and spake1696 kindly3820 unto them.
50:22 And Joseph3130 dwelt3427 in Egypt4714, he, and his father's0001 house1004: and Joseph3130 lived2421 an hundred3967 and ten6235 years8141.
50:23 And Joseph3130 saw7200 Ephraim's0669 children1121 of the third8029 {generation}: the children1121 also of Machir4353 the son1121 of Manasseh4519 were brought up3205 upon Joseph's3130 knees1290.
50:24 And Joseph3130 said0559 unto his brethren0251, I die4191: and God0430 will surely6485 visit6485 you, and bring you out5927 of this land0776 unto the land0776 which he sware7650 to Abraham0085, to Isaac3327, and to Jacob3290.
50:25 And Joseph3130 took an oath7650 of the children1121 of Israel3478, saying0559, God0430 will surely6485 visit6485 you, and ye shall carry up5927 my bones6106 from hence2088.
50:26 So Joseph3130 died4191, {being} an hundred3967 and ten6235 years8141 old1121: and they embalmed2590 him, and he was put3455 in a coffin0727 in Egypt4714.
