16:1 So they brought0935 the ark0727 of God0430, and set3322 it in the midst8432 of the tent0168 that David1732 had pitched5186 for it: and they offered7126 burnt sacrifices5930 and peace offerings8002 before6440 God0430.
16:2 And when David1732 had made an end3615 of offering5927 the burnt offerings5930 and the peace offerings8002, he blessed1288 the people5971 in the name8034 of the LORD3068.
16:3 And he dealt2505 to every one0376 of Israel3478, both man0376 and woman0802, to every one0376 a loaf3603 of bread3899, and a good piece of flesh0829, and a flagon0809 {of wine}.
16:4 And he appointed5414 {certain} of the Levites3881 to minister8334 before6440 the ark0727 of the LORD3068, and to record2142, and to thank3034 and praise1984 the LORD3068 God0430 of Israel3478:
16:5 Asaph0623 the chief7218, and next4932 to him Zechariah2148, Jeiel3273, and Shemiramoth8070, and Jehiel3171, and Mattithiah4993, and Eliab0446, and Benaiah1141, and Obededom5654: and Jeiel3273 with psalteries5035-3627 and with harps3658; but Asaph0623 made a sound8085 with cymbals4700;
16:6 Benaiah1141 also and Jahaziel3166 the priests3548 with trumpets2689 continually8548 before6440 the ark0727 of the covenant1285 of God0430.
16:7 Then on that day3117 David1732 delivered5414 first7218 {this psalm} to thank3034 the LORD3068 into the hand3027 of Asaph0623 and his brethren0251.
16:8 Give thanks3034 unto the LORD3068, call7121 upon his name8034, make known3045 his deeds5949 among the people5971.
16:9 Sing7891 unto him, sing psalms2167 unto him, talk7878 ye of all his wondrous6381 works.
16:10 Glory1984 ye in his holy6944 name8034: let the heart3820 of them rejoice8055 that seek1245 the LORD3068.
16:11 Seek1875 the LORD3068 and his strength5797, seek1245 his face6440 continually8548.
16:12 Remember2142 his marvellous6381 works that he hath done6213, his wonders4159, and the judgments4941 of his mouth6310;

16:40 To offer5927 burnt offerings5930 unto the LORD3068 upon the altar4196 of the burnt offering5930 continually8548 morning1242 and evening6153, and {to do} according to all that is written3789 in the law8451 of the LORD3068, which he commanded6680 Israel3478;
16:41 And with them Heman1968 and Jeduthun3038, and the rest7605 that were chosen1305, who were expressed5344 by name8034, to give thanks3034 to the LORD3068, because his mercy2617 {endureth} for ever5769;
16:42 And with them Heman1968 and Jeduthun3038 with trumpets2689 and cymbals4700 for those that should make a sound8085, and with musical7892 instruments3627 of God0430. And the sons1121 of Jeduthun3038 {were} porters8179.
16:43 And all the people5971 departed3212 every man0376 to his house1004: and David1732 returned5437 to bless1288 his house1004.
