20:1 And2532 it came to pass1096, {that} on1722 one3391 of those1565 days2250, as he0846 taught1321 the people2992 in1722 the temple2411, and2532 preached the gospel2097, the chief priests0749 and2532 the scribes1122 came upon2186 {him} with4862 the elders4245,
20:2 And2532 spake2036 unto4314 him0846, saying3004, Tell2036 us2254, by1722 what4169 authority1849 doest thou4160 these things5023? or2228 who5101 is he2076 that gave1325 thee4671 this5026 authority1849?
20:3 And1161 he answered0611 and said2036 unto4314 them0846, I2504 will2065 also2504 ask2065 you5209 one1520 thing3056; and2532 answer2036 me3427:
20:4 The baptism0908 of John2491, was it2258 from1537 heaven3772, or2228 of1537 men0444?
20:5 And1161 they reasoned4817 with4314 themselves1438, saying3004-3754, If1437 we shall say2036, From1537 heaven3772; he will say2046, Why1302 then3767 believed ye4100 him0846 not3756?
20:6 But and1161 if1437 we say2036, Of1537 men0444; all3956 the people2992 will stone2642 us2248: for1063 they be2076 persuaded3982 that John2491 was1511 a prophet4396.
20:7 And2532 they answered0611, that they could1492 not3361 tell1492 whence4159 {it was}.

20:16 He shall come2064 and2532 destroy0622 these5128 husbandmen1092, and2532 shall give1325 the vineyard0290 to others0243. And1161 when they heard0191 {it}, they said2036, God forbid3361-1096.
20:17 And1161 he beheld1689 them0846, and said2036, What5101 is2076 this5124 then3767 that is written1125, The stone3037 which3739 the builders3618 rejected0593, the same3778 is become1096 the head2776 of1519 the corner1137?
