3:1 Now the serpent5175 was1961 more subtil6175 than any beast2416 of the field7704 which the LORD3068 God0430 had made6213. And he said0559 unto the woman0802, Yea0637, hath God0430 said0559, Ye shall not eat0398 of every tree6086 of the garden1588?
3:2 And the woman0802 said0559 unto the serpent5175, We may eat0398 of the fruit6529 of the trees6086 of the garden1588:
3:3 But of the fruit6529 of the tree6086 which {is} in the midst8432 of the garden1588, God0430 hath said0559, Ye shall not eat0398 of it, neither shall ye touch5060 it, lest6435 ye die4191.
3:4 And the serpent5175 said0559 unto the woman0802, Ye shall not surely4191 die4191:
3:5 For God0430 doth know3045 that in the day3117 ye eat0398 thereof, then your eyes5869 shall be opened6491, and ye shall be as gods0430, knowing3045 good2896 and evil7451.
3:6 And when the woman0802 saw7200 that the tree6086 {was} good2896 for food3978, and that it1931 {was} pleasant8378 to the eyes5869, and a tree6086 to be desired2530 to make {one} wise7919, she took3947 of the fruit thereof6529, and did eat0398, and gave5414 also1571 unto her husband0376 with her; and he did eat0398.
3:7 And the eyes5869 of them both8147 were opened6491, and they1992 knew3045 that they {were} naked5903; and they sewed8609 fig8384 leaves5929 together8609, and made themselves6213 aprons2290.
3:8 And they heard8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 God0430 walking1980 in the garden1588 in the cool7307 of the day3117: and Adam0120 and his wife0802 hid themselves2244 from the presence6440 of the LORD3068 God0430 amongst8432 the trees6086 of the garden1588.
3:9 And the LORD3068 God0430 called7121 unto Adam0120, and said0559 unto him, Where {art} thou0335?
3:10 And he said0559, I heard8085 thy voice6963 in the garden1588, and I was afraid3372, because I0595 {was} naked5903; and I hid myself2244.
3:11 And he said0559, Who4310 told5046 thee that thou {wast} naked5903? Hast thou eaten0398 of the tree6086, whereof I commanded thee6680 that thou shouldest not1115 eat0398?
3:12 And the man0120 said0559, The woman0802 whom thou gavest5414 {to be} with me5978, she1931 gave5414 me of the tree6086, and I did eat0398.
3:13 And the LORD3068 God0430 said0559 unto the woman0802, What {is} this {that} thou hast done6213? And the woman0802 said0559, The serpent5175 beguiled me5377, and I did eat0398.
3:14 And the LORD3068 God0430 said0559 unto the serpent5175, Because thou0859 hast done6213 this, thou {art} cursed0779 above all cattle0929, and above every beast2416 of the field7704; upon thy belly1512 shalt thou go3212, and dust6083 shalt thou eat0398 all the days3117 of thy life2416:
3:15 And I will put7896 enmity0342 between thee and the woman0802, and between thy seed2233 and her seed2233; it shall bruise7779 thy head7218, and thou shalt bruise7779 his heel6119.
3:16 Unto the woman0802 he said0559, I will greatly7235 multiply7235 thy sorrow6093 and thy conception2032; in sorrow6089 thou shalt bring forth3205 children1121; and thy desire8669 {shall be} to thy husband0376, and he shall rule4910 over thee.
3:17 And unto Adam0121 he said0559, Because thou hast hearkened8085 unto the voice6963 of thy wife0802, and hast eaten0398 of the tree6086, of which0834 I commanded thee6680, saying0559, Thou shalt not eat0398 of it: cursed0779 {is} the ground0127 for thy sake; in sorrow6093 shalt thou eat0398 {of} it all3605 the days3117 of thy life2416;
3:18 Thorns also6975 and thistles1863 shall it bring forth6779 to thee; and thou shalt eat0398 the herb6212 of the field7704;
3:19 In the sweat2188 of thy face0639 shalt thou eat0398 bread3899, till5704 thou return7725 unto the ground0127; for out of it wast thou taken3947: for dust6083 thou0859 {art}, and unto dust6083 shalt thou return7725.
3:20 And Adam0120 called7121 his wife's0802 name8034 Eve2332; because she was the mother0517 of all living2416.
3:21 Unto Adam0120 also and to his wife0802 did the LORD3068 God0430 make6213 coats3801 of skins5785, and clothed them3847.
3:22 And the LORD3068 God0430 said0559, Behold2005, the man0120 is become as one0259 of us, to know3045 good2896 and evil7451: and now, lest he put forth7971 his hand3027, and take3947 also of the tree6086 of life2416, and eat0398, and live2425 for ever5769:
3:23 Therefore the LORD3068 God0430 sent him forth7971 from the garden1588 of Eden5731, to till5647 the ground0127 from whence he was taken3947.
3:24 So he drove out1644 the man0120; and he placed7931 at the east6924 of the garden1588 of Eden5731 Cherubims3742, and a flaming3858 sword2719 which turned every way2015, to keep8104 the way1870 of the tree6086 of life2416.
