44:2 {How} thou didst drive out3423 the heathen1471 with thy hand3027, and plantedst5193 them; {how} thou didst afflict7489 the people3816, and cast them out7971.
44:3 For they got3423 not the land0776 in possession3423 by their own sword2719, neither did their own arm2220 save3467 them: but thy right hand3225, and thine arm2220, and the light0216 of thy countenance6440, because thou hadst a favour7521 unto them.
44:4 Thou art my King4428, O God0430: command6680 deliverances3444 for Jacob3290.
44:5 Through thee will we push down5055 our enemies6862: through thy name8034 will we tread them under0947 that rise up6965 against us.
