And Edom0123 came out3318 against7125 him with much3515 people5971, and with a strong2389 hand3027. 20:21 Thus Edom0123 refused3985 to give5414 Israel3478 passage5674 through his border1366: wherefore Israel3478 turned away5186 from him. 20:22 And the children1121 of Israel3478, {even} the whole congregation5712, journeyed5265 from Kadesh6946, and came0935 unto mount2022 Hor2023. 20:23 And the LORD3068 spake0559 unto Moses4872 and Aaron0175 in mount2022 Hor2023, by the coast1366 of the land0776 of Edom0123, saying0559, 20:24 Aaron0175 shall be gathered0622 unto his people5971: for he shall not enter0935 into the land0776 which I have given5414 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, because ye rebelled against4784 my word6310 at the water4325 of Meribah4809. 20:25 Take3947 Aaron0175 and Eleazar0499 his son1121, and bring them up5927 unto mount2022 Hor2023: 20:26 And strip6584 Aaron0175 of his garments0899, and put3847 them upon Eleazar0499 his son1121: and Aaron0175 shall be gathered0622 {unto his people}, and shall die4191 there. 20:27 And Moses4872 did6213 as the LORD3068 commanded6680: and they went up5927 into mount2022 Hor2023 in the sight5869 of all the congregation5712. 20:28 And Moses4872 stripped6584 Aaron0175 of his garments0899, and put3847 them upon Eleazar0499 his son1121; and Aaron0175 died4191 there in the top7218 of the mount2022: and Moses4872 and Eleazar0499 came down3381 from the mount2022. 20:29 And when all the congregation5712 saw7200 that Aaron0175 was dead1478, they mourned1058 for Aaron0175 thirty7970 days3117, {even} all the house1004 of Israel3478.
