几乎都作关身形主动意βιάζομαι。「运用力量」。不及物：「使用力量，暴力」（ 申22:25,28 ）。带εἴς τι奋力进入某事（物）。πᾶς εἰς τὴν βασιλείον βιάζεται人人奋力要进入国度， 路16:16 。但若βιάζεται作为被动或作为关身（ 创33:11 士13:15 ），意义则为「迫切邀请」。参 路14:23 之意义。

平行经文 太11:12 ἡ βασιλεία τ. οὐρανῶν βιάζεται 之意义亦同样不明。有下列二个可能：
一、及物被动：
A. 用作不利的意义：「被暴力对待，被压迫」。国度遭受暴力攻击。
1. 透过阻力的兴起来反对国度。

2. 透过未授权者的影响强逼国度来临。

3. βιά亦作用武力占领（疆土）。

B. 用作善意＝「被热切寻求」。
