27:1 And Moses4872 with the elders2205 of Israel3478 commanded6680 the people5971, saying0559, Keep8104 all the commandments4687 which I command6680 you this day3117.
27:2 And it shall be on the day3117 when ye shall pass over5674 Jordan3383 unto the land0776 which the LORD3068 thy God0430 giveth5414 thee, that thou shalt set thee up6965 great1419 stones0068, and plaister7874 them with plaister7875:
27:3 And thou shalt write3789 upon them all the words1697 of this law8451, when thou art passed over5674, that thou mayest go in0935 unto the land0776 which the LORD3068 thy God0430 giveth5414 thee, a land0776 that floweth2100 with milk2461 and honey1706; as the LORD3068 God0430 of thy fathers0001 hath promised1696 thee.
27:4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over5674 Jordan3383, {that} ye shall set up6965 these stones0068, which I command6680 you this day3117, in mount2022 Ebal5858, and thou shalt plaister7875 them with plaister7874.
27:5 And there shalt thou build1129 an altar4196 unto the LORD3068 thy God0430, an altar4196 of stones0068: thou shalt not lift up5130 {any} iron1270 {tool} upon them.
27:6 Thou shalt build1129 the altar4196 of the LORD3068 thy God0430 of whole8003 stones0068: and thou shalt offer5927 burnt offerings5930 thereon unto the LORD3068 thy God0430:
27:7 And thou shalt offer2076 peace offerings8002, and shalt eat0398 there, and rejoice8055 before6440 the LORD3068 thy God0430.
27:8 And thou shalt write3789 upon the stones0068 all the words1697 of this law8451 very3190 plainly0874.
27:9 And Moses4872 and the priests3548 the Levites3881 spake1696 unto all Israel3478, saying0559, Take heed5535, and hearken8085, O Israel3478; this day3117 thou art become1961 the people5971 of the LORD3068 thy God0430.
27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 thy God0430, and do6213 his commandments4687 and his statutes2706, which I command6680 thee this day3117.
27:11 And Moses4872 charged6680 the people5971 the same day3117, saying0559,
27:12 These shall stand5975 upon mount2022 Gerizim1630 to bless1288 the people5971, when ye are come over5674 Jordan3383; Simeon8095, and Levi3878, and Judah3063, and Issachar3485, and Joseph3130, and Benjamin1144:
27:13 And these shall stand5975 upon mount2022 Ebal5858 to curse7045; Reuben7205, Gad1410, and Asher0836, and Zebulun2074, Dan1835, and Naphtali5321.
27:14 And the Levites3881 shall speak6030, and say0559 unto all the men0376 of Israel3478 with a loud7311 voice6963,
27:15 Cursed0779 {be} the man0376 that maketh6213 {any} graven6459 or molten image4541, an abomination8441 unto the LORD3068, the work4639 of the hands3027 of the craftsman2796, and putteth7760 {it} in {a} secret5643 {place}. And all the people5971 shall answer6030 and say0559, Amen0543.
27:16 Cursed0779 {be} he that setteth light7034 by his father0001 or his mother0517. And all the people5971 shall say0559, Amen0543.
27:17 Cursed0779 {be} he that removeth5253 his neighbour's7453 landmark1366. And all the people5971 shall say0559, Amen0543.
