24:1 And he said0559 unto Moses4872, Come up5927 unto the LORD3068, thou, and Aaron0175, Nadab5070, and Abihu0030, and seventy7657 of the elders2205 of Israel3478; and worship7812 ye afar off7350.
24:2 And Moses4872 alone shall come near5066 the LORD3068: but they shall not come nigh5066; neither shall the people5971 go up5927 with him.
24:3 And Moses4872 came0935 and told5608 the people5971 all the words1697 of the LORD3068, and all the judgments4941: and all the people5971 answered6030 with one0259 voice6963, and said0559, All the words1697 which the LORD3068 hath said1696 will we do6213.
24:4 And Moses4872 wrote3789 all the words1697 of the LORD3068, and rose up early7925 in the morning1242, and builded1129 an altar4196 under the hill2022, and twelve pillars4676, according to the twelve8147-6240 tribes7626 of Israel3478.
24:5 And he sent7971 young men5288 of the children1121 of Israel3478, which offered5927 burnt offerings5930, and sacrificed2076 peace8002 offerings2077 of oxen6499 unto the LORD3068.
24:6 And Moses4872 took3947 half2677 of the blood1818, and put7760 {it} in basons0101; and half2677 of the blood1818 he sprinkled2236 on the altar4196.
24:7 And he took3947 the book5612 of the covenant1285, and read7121 in the audience0241 of the people5971: and they said0559, All that the LORD3068 hath said1696 will we do6213, and be obedient8085.
24:8 And Moses4872 took3947 the blood1818, and sprinkled2236 {it} on the people5971, and said0559, Behold the blood1818 of the covenant1285, which the LORD3068 hath made3772 with you concerning all these words1697.
24:9 Then went up5927 Moses4872, and Aaron0175, Nadab5070, and Abihu0030, and seventy7657 of the elders2205 of Israel3478:
24:10 And they saw7200 the God0430 of Israel3478: and {there was} under his feet7272 as it were a paved3840 work4639 of a sapphire stone5601, and as it were the body6106 of heaven8064 in {his} clearness2892.
24:11 And upon the nobles0678 of the children1121 of Israel3478 he laid7971 not his hand3027: also they saw2372 God0430, and did eat0398 and drink8354.
24:12 And the LORD3068 said0559 unto Moses4872, Come up5927 to me into the mount2022, and be there: and I will give5414 thee tables3871 of stone0068, and a law8451, and commandments4687 which I have written3789; that thou mayest teach3384 them.
24:13 And Moses4872 rose up6965, and his minister8334 Joshua3091: and Moses4872 went up5927 into the mount2022 of God0430.
24:14 And he said0559 unto the elders2205, Tarry3427 ye here2088 for us, until we come again7725 unto you: and, behold, Aaron0175 and Hur2354 {are} with you: if any4310 man1167 have any matters1697 to do1167, let him come5066 unto them.
24:15 And Moses4872 went up5927 into the mount2022, and a cloud6051 covered3680 the mount2022.
24:16 And the glory3519 of the LORD3068 abode7931 upon mount2022 Sinai5514, and the cloud6051 covered3680 it six8337 days3117: and the seventh7637 day3117 he called7121 unto Moses4872 out of the midst8432 of the cloud6051.
24:17 And the sight4758 of the glory3519 of the LORD3068 {was} like devouring0398 fire0784 on the top7218 of the mount2022 in the eyes5869 of the children1121 of Israel3478.
24:18 And Moses4872 went0935 into the midst8432 of the cloud6051, and gat him up5927 into the mount2022: and Moses4872 was in the mount2022 forty0705 days3117 and forty0705 nights3915.
