所传下传递的事传统」。指教训,诫命,轶事等,起先为主动意味,但新约中仅具被动,指被传下的事:指文士和法利赛人所保有的传统,他们称之为ἡ παράδοσις τῶν πρεσβυτέρων 古人的遗传太15:2 可7:5 ;参3节。耶稣与他们交谈时则称之为ἡ παράδοσις ὑμῶν你们的遗传太15:3,6 可7:9,13 ,甚至ἡ παράδοσις τῶν ἀνθρώπων人的遗传可7:8 。保罗亦用后者指称歌罗西的异端, 西2:8 。于回顾他在犹太教之时,他自称是ζηλωτὴς τῶν πατρικῶν παραδόσεων 为祖宗的遗传热心的人, 加1:14 。指保罗的教训, 帖后3:6 (与παραλαμβάνειν连用)。复数:指个别的教导, 林前11:2 (带παραδιδόναι); 帖后2:15 。*
